Emmerdale viewers are in for a treat this Christmas – with the festive season jam packed full of drama.
There are wedding bells, sisters at war and a dysfunctional family Christmas to keep fans entertained during the cold winter nights.
In a change to the usual proceedings in soapland, the big day itself will be full of Christmas cheer because of a surprise Dingle wedding.
However, it definitely won’t go down without a hitch, with the bride fearing that her nuptials are cursed.
There is also another illicit kiss between teacher and pupil, while one villager is left out in the cold.

Surprise Dingle wedding
Marlon and Sam get drunk on the night before the wedding
Jessie plans a surprise wedding for Marlon, who is left completely in the dark about his own big day.
But she fears the wedding is cursed after cheeky Monty the dog is found munching on the wedding cake.
Marlon goes out drinking at the Woolpack with Sam, unaware that it is actually his stag do.
The pair get thrown out by Charity and somehow end up waking up in the back of a delivery van in the middle of nowhere.

They rush back to the village for what they believe is Sam’s wedding to Lydia, so it comes as a big shock when Marlon realises he is getting married.
Unable to handle the shocks news, stunned Marlon faints, while poor Sam is devastated that he is not tying the knot.
