Emotional Emily Atack says her jungle experience has changed her outlook on life – from “vulnerable” to a “strong independent woman”.
Emily, 28, said she is now finally happy being single after splitting from estate agent Jack Vacher, 23, after five years at the end of 2017.
“I honestly feel like a different person.,” she said. “I feel now being a single 28-year-old woman is the most powerful position.
“I used to think this was quite a vulnerable position and now, f*** that, I feel the strongest I have ever felt in my whole life.
“I feel like a strong independent woman. I survived in a jungle, I can survive anything and I can do anything on my own now. Apart from probably pass my driving test.”
The glam Inbetweeners star also reckons she feels liberated from the need to look perfect all the time.

“I wanted to show there was more to me than hair, make up and posing.
“The jungle was the perfect way to show I have got a lot of junk in the trunk, I have got frizzly hair and freckly skin and I am not afraid to show that. I can just be who I am.
“Now I can be a bit more free. I got so far in the series being myself and letting my hair down literally.”
Emily said she knew from “early on” Harry Redknapp would win and was happy to be runner up to him.
Her closest pal was John Barrowman and they may now work together on a rumoured TV project.
“I am definitely going to stay with him in Palm Springs,” she added.
