AJ Pritchard blamed something rather strange for her and Lauren Steadman’s vote-off the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair performed admirably in the semi-final of the show, but sadly their efforts in the Samba and the Tango did not really do the trick and they were forced to say goodbye to the competition.
And according to AJ on the It Takes Two sofa, there was a particular reason for the problems they encountered on the night, as they were forced to go up against Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev in the dance-off.
From what AJ says, he thinks the outfits were a little bit strange, and perhaps caused some of the issues which left them desperately trying to get through to the final.

In a conversation with Zoe Ball, he said: "Tango was good dance, it felt good to perform – the song, the outfit. maybe not my outfit, but…"
Later, they talked about the Samba, which saw them get some very low marks, as he sarcastically commented: "I love this dance, the song was great, the outfits were interesting, again…
"Honestly for me this dance was about personality and Lauren is just, look at that smile."

As the pair continued to chat, however, AJ’s eyebrow seemed to raise later on when the pair heaped praise on one another.
Clearly, as Lauren pointed out, they had their eyes on the glitterball, and perhaps the early defeat has left AJ feeling a little frustrated.
But it seems fans at home agreed with his concerns, with one saying: "The last two outfits worn by Lauren and AJ looked like they were ‘last up worse dressed’ …. # ItTakesTwo"

Sadly, the pair will not join their dancing colleagues in the final, with the grand end of the show including Stacey Dooley, Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg and Ashley Roberts while they watch from the sidelines.
It Takes Two continues at 6.30pm every night this week and at 6pm on Friday night on BBC2.
