After a lucrative nine years, Cheryl ‘s contract as a spokesmodel for L’Oreal is over.
The former Girls Aloud star’s £4million contract came to an end recently , paving the way for her new collaboration with hair extension brand Easilocks.
Although Easilocks will certainly prove lucrative for the singer, it’s unlikely the payday will match up to her L’Oreal income.
Confirming her exit from the beauty brand, the mother-of-one said: "I have had an amazing experience as L’Oreal Paris’ UK spokesmodel for the past nine years and have loved working with the team over there. It always felt like more than a partnership and I would like to thank them all for the opportunities it has afforded me."
With Cheryl’s recent solo comeback failing to set the charts alight and going through a second divorce two years ago, has the star’s fortune taken a battering?
Cheryl and L’Oreal have parted ways after nine years
Prior to the end of her L’Oreal contract, Cheryl’s net worth was said to be £20million – a fall of £33.794 from the year before – according to Spear’s.
Of course, most of 2016 and 2017, she was taking a break from her career while pregnant with son Bear and for the first year of his life.
Earlier this year, Cheryl signed a new record deal with dance label 3Beat – an imprint of Universal – after parting ways with Polydor. The value of the deal was never disclosed.
In the last few months, Cheryl has dissolved two of her companies – Cheryl’s North East Projects Limited and Cherco Productions Limited.
However, she still remains as director at CC Couture Limited and Cherco Publishing Limited, according to filings at Companies House.
Her company, CC Couture Ltd – is described as a performing arts company and had total shareholder funds of £845,876 in 2017 – a fall from £1.39million the previous year.

Meanwhile, as Cheryl does most of the parenting of her toddler son Bear Payne, with ex-boyfriend Liam Payne, it’s likely the One Direction star is contributing child support.
Liam’s net worth is said to be around £43million – mostly amassed from his days in boy band One Direction.
Although Cheryl’s chart career is currently struggling, at the peak of her ‘Nation’s sweetheart’ fame, she was said to be worth £29milion.
She earned an estimated £7million from her years in pop group Girls Aloud, during which they sold over 4.3milion singles in the UK.
The Geordie was said to have earned £1.5 million for her first three years on The X Factor, before signing a £3milion deal to judge The X Factor USA in 2011.

However, Cheryl was famously fired from the show after just three weeks, so she sued the makers for £1.4million. The case was letter settled out of court and she accepted an undisclosed sum.
Following her departure from the show, she eventually forgave Simon Cowell and returned to the UK version of The X Factor in 2015, signing a £1.8million deal to judge for a further two years.
