Sheridan Smith is planning on taking a break from showbiz next year, according to reports.
A close pal of the actress says she wants to spend some me time away from the spotlight after filming two big TV shows.
The star has said in the past that she "lost her mind" after facing some personal struggles, including the death of her beloved father.
And after filming two primetime dramas for BBC and ITV – Care and Cleaning Up – it’s claimed Sheridan is going to take some much-deserved time off.
A source told The Sun : "She is very conscious of letting things get on top of her, so she’s booked some time off and is just going to have some me time.

"The documentary was mentally and physically exhausting. It was her pouring her entire heart and soul into it.
"Plus, Sheridan had to also give a lot of time and effort to Care and Cleaning Up, which are both set to be big hits."
Just last month, Sheridan opened up about her life in documentary Sheridan Smith: Coming Home, in which she detailed her personal struggles as well as her return to music.
And earlier this year, Sheridan publicly opened up about her struggles while she was on stage at the Royal Albert Hall.
Breaking down in tears between songs, she said: "So guys, I obviously sang that song because it’s been quite well documented that I lost my mind for a couple of years."

On Sunday, Sheridan’s new show Care will see her star as a hard-working single mum alongside Alison Steadman.
It airs at 9pm on BBC One.
Cleaning Up, in which she plays a cleaner who begins trading, starts on ITV in the new year.
Mirror Online has contacted Sheridan’s representatives for comment.
