Ariana Grande joked she’s made up of 60 per cent champagne as she admitted she’s never consumed more alcohol than she has in the past month.
The thank u, next hitmaker has had an incredibly difficult year, from the terrorist attack on her concert to the shock death of her ex Mac Miller and her split from fiancé Pete Davidson.
But the star suggested she’d got through it all by spending time with her close friends, and enjoying a drink or two.
The 25-year-old told Billboard : "I am champagne. You know how people say we’re 60 percent water? I’m 60 percent pink Veuve Clicquot."

Ariana also explained how she channelled the pain she was feeling into her music.
The break-up anthem thank u, next saw her claim her first ever Billboard Top 100 number one single.
She said: "I love this more than any other song I’ve ever put out. It was me and my besties tipsy off champagne…and me with a broken heart…just letting it out and having fun."
Ariana’s triumphs, including her album Sweetener, saw her named Billboard’s 2018 Woman of the Year.

And she said she’s already working on her fifth album, which will share a name with her latest hit single.
She said the song was the product of "feminine energy and champagne and music and laughter and crying".
She added: "This [album’s] not particularly uplifting. A lot of it sounds really upbeat, but it’s actually a super sad chapter."

Ariana opened up about the tough time she’s had lately, saying she can’t even say ‘good morning’ to someone "without crying", and that she no longer "gives a s**t about what people think".
The star said her priorities have changed after being tried with "such serious s**t" and that all she wants is to "be happy and healthy one day" and to keep making music.
