Soap star in panto ‘snorted so much cocaine co-stars dubbed her Snow Queen’

A soap star is said to have taken so much cocaine while starring in a family pantomime that she earned the nickname the ‘Snow Queen,’ according to reports.

The woman is also alleged to have argued with her fellow cast-members from the festive show after openly taking drugs backstage.

The claims about the star’s habit were made by a friend of one of the cast.

They said: "I’ve never been in one where drugs have been openly taken but a friend of mine was starring with a soap star who took cocaine all the time and quite openly too.

"She was dubbed the Snow Queen," added the source, although there is no suggestion that the panto she was starring in was of the same title . "She got into rows because she was out control which sounded awful."

The insider declined to name the soap star in question after speaking to Closer magazine .

While a second panto star also claimed that he had witnessed cast members taking drugs back stage at a family production he was involved in.

"It’s a rock’n’roll lifestyle for a couple of months," he told the Daily Star.

"People are away from home meeting new friends and it’s a big party. These days with parties come drugs."

He also claimed he once saw a woman ‘off her trolley’ during a live performance.

"She had a great time but I’m not sure the audience did," he quipped.

The actor also said some cast-members took ‘speed-type stuff’ just to keep them awake.

"It’s gruelling working on a show and one guy was popping pills just to get through – all in the name of family entertainment," he claimed.
