Noel Edmonds hits out at I’m A Celebrity bosses for show’s edit after getting boot

The first big shock of jungle reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been revealed and it has seen TV legend Noel Edmonds get the boot out of camp.

It was a big surprise for his campmates to see the Deal of No Deal host be the first to exit the jungle and Noel seemed equally as miffed at being sent packing so soon.

After making a late entry in to the ITV show, Noel was looking like he could go all the way to the final but his jungle adventure has come to an abrupt ending.

After leaving the camp, Noel has shared some thoughts as to why he was voted out first and hinted that the show’s producers may have cost him a longer stay.

Speaking on I’m A Celebrity spin-off show, Extra Camp, the 69-year-old TV stalwart said that there was a lot that viewers didn’t see and hinted that discussions about cosmic ordering and his beliefs had been left out of the final cut.

Noel also believes that the public do not appreciate the level of boredom in the camp and being stuck with, "appalling toilet facilities."

Talking to show host Scarlett Moffatt, Noel said: “There are a lot of stories that have not been broadcast.

"I don’t think people can fully appreciate what it is like round the clock to be going from these huge periods of absolute boredom to moments of total terror in-between having almost no food and the most appalling toilet facilities."

There seemed to be one regret for Noel on leaving the camp and that was that he hadn’t caused enough mischief.

He said: “I wasn’t as naughty as I expected to be in there, mainly because we spent a lot of time talking. And really chewing the fat on issues.”
