The X Factor finalists have been paired up with established acts in a bid to land the show’s winner the coveted Christmas number one.
The final three will perform their winner’s singles alongside their famous counterparts as they attempt to win the show, before releasing their duet as their debut single.
Louis Tomlinson’s act Dalton Harris has been teamed up with former X Factor winner and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter James Arthur.
Former One Direction star Louis’s other finalist Anthony Russell will team up with indie band the Kaiser Chiefs, fronted by former The Voice coach Ricky Wilson.
Lastly, Simon Cowell’s act Scarlett Lee will be paired with former champ Leona Lewis, who remains a close pal of the Syco boss.

During the X Factor’s heyday, it was almost always a given that the winner would nab the Christmas number one with their debut offering.
But as ratings have dwindled in recent years, the decision to pair hopefuls up with established stars will give the show’s eventual winner a much-needed boost when it comes to climbing to the top of the charts.
“The X Factor no longer has a monopoly on the Christmas No1 like in the early days, so this exciting spin on the winner’s single will ensure it is in the running,” an insider told The Sun.

“James, Leona and the Kaiser Chiefs are friends of the show and were happy to lend their vocals to the winner’s singles, even though only one of the records will see the light of day.
“While Dalton, Anthony or Scarlett have to share the glory, the chance to collaborate with one of the country’s biggest acts on their first ever release is an added perk.”
Each of the pairings will perform their potential singles during this weekend’s X Factor final.

But those performances won’t be the finalists’ only duets, as the three remaining contestants will also team up with a number of other stars during the final.
As well as joining judge Robbie Williams and the rest of the final ten to perform a medley of his hits, they will each take on another star duet.
