When Harry Redknapp married his wife Sandra it was a perfect day… almost.
The only sticking point was Frank Lampard nearly ruining the nuptials.
Harry asked his best friend and fellow footballer Frank to be his best man when he married the love of his life on June 30, 1967.
But he was forced to hobble along to the big day on crutches after breaking his leg playing against Sheffield United.
"At the time I was playing for West Ham United with Frank Lampard," Harry told the Telegraph back in 2013.

He added: "He was supposed to be my best man, but had broken his leg badly playing against Sheffield United, so was on crutches.
"Later on, he married Sandra’s sister, Pat.
"Neither of the girls had ever seen a game of football, and it was just an absolute coincidence that a couple of weeks after I’d started going out with Sandra, he met Pat.

"It was a bit strange, becoming related to a teammate, but it was great because we were marrying into a lovely family.
"Their dad was a great big guy and a lovely man, but he was a foreman on the docks and you’d never have wanted to upset him.
"When we took the girls home, if we stayed longer than 10 minutes, he’d bang on the floor and that was it, time to go."
