I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is supposed to put its celeb campers in difficult situations, while keeping the presenters relatively safe.
But only days after Extra Camp’s Joe Swash was hospitalised because a six-legged ‘squatter’ had taken up residence in his ear, his colleague Scarlett Moffat was given a serious fright when part of the show’s set collapsed behind her.
Scarlett and co-presenter Joel Dommet were filming an interview with main show anchors Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby when a sudden Southerly Buster breeze blew part of the Extra Camp set to the ground.

Scarlet quipped that the Extra Camp set was ramshackle because the satellite show was operating on a much lower budget than the main I’m A Celeb production and Dec replied, laughing that “it all goes on [Holly’s] entourage!”
Joel tried to suggest that Scarlett was the only one that was frightened…

Dec has ribbed Holly about her entourage before, since it was revealed at the weekend that she has brought a thirteen-strong team with her to the jungle, including stylist Angie Smith, make-up artist Patsy O’Neill, agent Emily Page, and tutors for her children.

Most of Holly’s team are quartered at the five-star £800-a-night Halcyon Hotel, where evicted celebs will also be staying once they leave the jungle, and there’s no doubt that putting I’m A Celebrity on is an expensive proposition.

Scarlett can be assured, though, that ITV’s attention to detail extends to the set builders and if the Extra Camp backdrop couldn’t stand up to the powerful breeze its a safe bet that no set in the world could.
