Coronation Street has revealed Fiz Stape’s heartbreaking departure – and she won’t be going alone.
Fan favourite Jennie McAlpine has taken a break from the soap after giving birth to her second daughter Hilda, leaving the writers with the task of explaining where her character would be.
Fiz will be forced to leave the cobbles after daughter Hope’s bad behaviour spirals out of control in the worst possible way.
Despite Fiz and Tyrone’s protestations, and the backing of Brian, it seems Hope has run out of chances at her school after biting her teacher.
Then they are forced to make a big decision after Hope bites her own sister then gets on the wrong side of grandma Evelyn by losing her dog.
