I am not a 28-year-old woman as you may have noticed, so I am not the perfect person to feel what Emily Atack is feeling right now in camp.
But I was 28 once, and I have also read the opinions of many females watching I’m A Celebrity on social media.
On Sunday night Emily really seem to strike a chord with viewers, especially girls having similar feelings or problems like her in their lives.
She spoke about her delight at losing weight in camp, and highlighted feeling clumsy or insecure next to Fleur East when she danced.
Emily and Noel had a heart to heart

And then she spoke openly and honestly about relationship issues she has faced, telling Noel Edmonds she was “soul searching” and that after a break up at the start of the year she was still looking for someone special in her life.
In one of her most revealing comments she told Noel: “For me this has been very daunting, I’m an open book and talk openly about my feelings and I’m sat here with no make up on, I know that sounds vain but in here I’m not worried, I’m carefree.
They talked about their love lives

"I’m a bit of a boozer on the outside and I thought coming in here without booze I’d be really quiet and shy but I don’t need it at all. I’m nearly 29 and want to look after myself and who I am, the fact that I have freckles and no eyebrows!”
Whether she wins or loses, I’m A Celebrity looks like being an important few weeks for Emily. Lots of viewers around a similar age seem to be relating to her problems, and her honesty when speaking to Noel was refreshing and unusual.
Emily seems to be genuinely enjoying the I’m A Celeb experience
She is coming across well and doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously, laughing a lot and playing games with John Barrowman and doing impressions with the girls.
Away from the more serious issues like finding love, she is also becoming more brave and probably surprised herself by completing all her challenges in the live trial.
One of the unexpected side-effects of doing the show is some significant weight loss
Harry Redknapp remains the favourite to win, but there is a lot to like about Emily and if there is to be another queen of the jungle – which would be the fourth female winner in a row – she would be a worthy winner.
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV. British Airways flew Mark to Australia and have fares from £712 at BA.com
