This Morning’s Phillip Schofield told to ‘calm down’ over Holly Willoughby

Phillip Schofield’s excitement got the better of him on This Morning today – even prompting co-host Rochelle Humes to try to get him to "calm down".

Rochelle, 29, is currently standing in for Holly Willoughby while she presents I’m A Celebrity with Declan Donnelly in Australia.

And today Phil revealed that he would be facing a challenge that Holly had already tackled.

The 56-year-old presenter was hoping that he could beat her time of 18 seconds, but ended up getting chastised over his enthusiasm.

While giving viewers a run-down of what to expect from today’s show, he said: "After Holly took on the Willoughby Wallaby Wobbly Willoughby game…"

As Rochelle praised his ability to say the tongue-twister, he quipped: "See they haven’t let me have any practice at all."

"And he’s asked by the way," Rochelle said wryly.

Phil exclaimed: "I have, I have asked because I’m sure Holly will have done exactly the same in the Jungle."

Noting that Phil was almost bouncing up and down about taking part in the game, Rochelle told him: "Calm down!"

But Phil insisted: "She will have had a practice!"

The pair laughed as Phil shook his head and knowingly said: "I won’t beat her time."

Later on in the show, Phil took part in the challenge which saw him face a number of images flashing up on the screen.

He had to identify whether they were a wallaby, Holly Willoughby or a wobbly piece of jelly.

Phil just about managed to beat Holly, with Rochelle and Gino failing to match his quick time.
