Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has revealed the truth about the Lindy-Hop-A-Thon ‘fix’ scandal.
Saturday night’s show descended into chaos after all the celebrity dancers and their professional partners performed on the dance floor at the same time.
Shirley Ballas got into a muddle while reading out the results from a scrap of paper, prompting claims from some viewers that something was amiss .
Confused Shirley said: "Hold on we’ve lost the board. But anyway I’ll keep going."
However, Craig explained that there were technical issues at play and revealed why producers were seen handing him a sheet of paper.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, he said: "I thought it was rather exciting wasn’t it darling, great live TV."
Craig revealed that the iPad with the results stopped working and they were forced to use pen and paper.
He added: "Very simply the tablet went down that Shirley had to read from. And of course, as a back up, it’s my job on the panel to write the names in order as they’re selected.
"I give that to the floor manger, thats very normal. It’s happened every year we’ve done a ’thon’. He takes a picture that’s sent to the gallery.
Craig revealed why he was handed a bit of paper
Craig was seen being handed back a piece of paper, which he then gave to Shirley.
This prompted speculation that the producers may have been trying to influence the result.
However, Craig explained that he was being handed back the same bit of paper he had written the result son.
He added: "In the end I had to get it back as the tablets went down."

Shirley also made the mistake of reading out the first placed contestant at the start, ruining the suspense.
The head judge announced: "Getting seven points, will be Ashley!”
But then Darcey, correcting her, quietly said: "Seventh place is for Lauren, read from the bottom"
In the confusion, Shirley announced the fifth place spot was for "Charles and Dianne," which left Karen Clifton looking over at her pro colleague in bemusement.
They explained the situation to her, and she corrected herself, saying it was Charles and Karen in that spot, while Joe and Dianne were in third place.
Eventually Bruno decided to take over and make sense of the chaos by saying: "We apologise the board went all berserk so we have to read off the paper. So we start on seventh place. Sorry.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday on BBC One.
