It’s been almost a year since Peter Kay cancelled his tour and future commitments ‘due to unforeseen family circumstances’.
And while he’s been keeping a low profile since, England netball team coach Tracey Neville revealed she had a hilarious encounter with the comedian, who she says knocked her wing mirror off.
The sister of former Manchester United stars Gary and Phil Neville said she ‘couldn’t stop laughing’ when Peter came running up to her in the car park at Old Trafford and apparently confessed.
"I was on the players’ car park at United. I was rushing off and I came out and this guy came to me, he said, ‘Is that your car love? I’ve took the wing mirror off it,’" she told the BBC.
"I looked round and it was Peter Kay. I couldn’t stop laughing."

She was pumped to meet her hero
She admits being so pumped that her dad had to remind her about the actual practicalities of a crash.
"I rang my dad and went, ‘Peter Kay’s just took the wing mirror off my car,’" she continued.
"He’s like, ‘What are you laughing about? Did you get his insurance?’
"Well it didn’t really matter because Peter Kay just took the wing mirror off. I thought it was quite funny actually.
"Of all the people to bump into your car, it was the funniest man, I think he is, in the world.
