Meghan Markle surprised royal fans this week as she stepped out for a reunion with the women who run Hubb Community Kitchen in London. The women are all survivors of the Grenfell Fire tragedy, and Meghan’s involvement in the community cookbook marks her first solo project as a member of the royal family.

For the visit, Meghan wore a short Club Monaco dress (which has since sold out, but similar styles are still available to shop) featuring long sleeves and a velvet collar. The Duchess wore black pantyhose with the dress, which happens to be shorter than most outfits Meghan has worn since joining the royal family. She co-ordinated the look with a Club Monaco Daylina coat, and a pair of Givenchy boots.

In a new report for Vanity Fair, royal commentator Katie, Nicholl writes that “Sources close to Meghan say she deliberately wore a flowing dress today so that her pregnancy did not become the headline story.”
