There’s no doubt that many of the stars competing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here can bank huge money once the show finishes.
Endorsement deals, personal appearances and lucrative new TV gigs await those celebs who make the right impression on the viewing public.
But according to one report, the winner of the ITV reality show has a standard clause in their contract which states that they must pay the TV channel 30 per cent of their earnings made in the 45 days following the show.
Last year’s winner, Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, was reportedly paid £13,000 for her appearance in the Australian jungle.
Toff won last year’s show and reportedly had to hand over 30 per cent of her earnings during the 45 days after the show finished
But according to the Mail On Sunday , ITV bosses were allowed to ‘pore over her books’ following her win, which is said to have cost her hundreds of thousands of pounds.
At the time, the former Made In Chelsea star was reportedly set to bank upwards of £1million following her successful stint in the jungle.
"The earnings clause, which is in force for 45 days following the end of the show, applies to public appearances, contracts and endorsements,” an insider told the publication.

One unnamed agent commented last year: “This is as unfair as it gets.”
This means that this year’s Jungle King or Queen will likely be subject to the same contract clause.
The likes of John Barrowman, Anne Hegerty and Emily Atack could all face handing over stacks of cash should they win the show and go on to sign new deals in the weeks following the show’s final.

While Vicky Pattison managed to land a series of endorsement deals, as well as a slot on the Loose Women panel, following her stint in the jungle.
