The Chase star Shaun Wallace believes "resilient" Anne Hegerty can go all the way and win this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
He praised his fellow Chaser for announcing to the world that she has autism and putting herself "outside of her comfort zone" in the jungle.
The pair have been good friends since meeting on ITV gameshow The Chase when Anne joined in 2009.
The Dark Destroyer said The Governess, who broke down in tears last night after her trial, was showing her "human side".
Shaun gave Anne a big hug after finding out she was going to the jungle a week before she flew out to Australia.

Speaking about her trial, he said: "It tugged at my heart strings to see her go through that.
"Anne’s normally good under the pressure of time, answering questions, but she’s out of her comfort zone. I’m very proud of her.
"You’re seeing the human side of Anne which is really fantastic. What makes me more proud of her is she’s announced with the world she suffers from autism.
"It must be hard to cope with that condition outside of her comfort zone."

Shaun explained that The Chase was "one big happy family" and they are all thrilled for Anne.
On her chances of winning, she said: "She’s trying her very best and I hope her efforts can take her all the way. She’s getting used to the environment she’s in. It’s very alien.
"The more she survives in the jungle the greater her chances of winning and I think she can go all the way."
He believes Anne can win the show
The Chaser told Lorraine Kelly that his pal was a "tough cookie" and would get by with a little help from her friends.
He said: "Her fellow campmates are giving her all the love and support she need and that will give her the strength to get through it."
Shaun, who admitted that he could cope with anything but rats, added: "Producers do not contact me."
*Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV at 8.30am
