Simon Cowell was suited and booted for his date night with Lauren Silverman – but he forgot one vital thing.
The X Factor judge was spotted leaving the glamorous Nutcracker Ball in London on Tuesday night with the zip on his trousers left open right to the bottom.
59-year-old Simon appeared completely oblivious to his wardrobe malfunction as he posed for pics alongside partner Lauren.
While Simon threatened to steal the limelight thanks to the unfortunate flash of his underwear, Lauren still commanded attention in her stunning floorlength gown.
The red number featured a revealing halterneck neckline and cinched-in waist to showcase Lauren’s enviable figure, while the flowing train added an extra touch of sophistication to her ensemble.

The couple were enjoying a date night at the charity event without their four-year-old son Eric.
Earlier this week their youngster looked to have been taking some style tips from his famous dad as he was photographed dressed up in some of his signature garments.
Clad in an unbuttoned white shirt, boot cut jeans and aviator sunglasses, little Eric was a deadringer for Cowell Senior.

He even pulled out the famous ‘X’ hand signal and peace fingers beloved by his dad.
Simon said: “Unicef’s World Children’s Day is an inspired idea. I can now talk as a very proud Dad about the joy Eric has brought to my life.
"My dream would be to see him one day running the company I have built. And the most important lesson I have learned is what children teach you. They all have a voice.”
It’s not the first time Simon’s mini-me son has stepped into his dad’s work shoes.
Little Eric has been a regular on Britain’s Got Talent in the past, and has also cropped up in the most recent series of The X Factor .

Simon’s only child delighted viewers when he jumped up on stage to join his dad at the auditions.
Opening up about fatherhood, the X Factor judge also recently confessed that being a dad had made him far less nasty.
Speaking to Louis Tomlinson, who had just met Eric for the first time, Simon said: "It has been so the best thing in my life. I see everything though a more positive light now. Simple as that."
