Sarah Ferguson refuses to rule out getting back together with Prince Andrew

Sarah Ferguson has refused to rule out getting back together with her ex-husband Prince Andrew.

The Duchess of York, 59, was left in an awkward position on today’s Good Morning Britain after being asked about the current status of their relationship.

Sarah, who attended her daughter Eugenie’s wedding last month, confessed that "thousands of people" want them to get back together.

Discussing Prince Andrew, his former wife said: "What I love about that is I am different and he is different."

When asked about a potential remarriage, Fergie told "romantic" GMB host Piers Morgan to "get a life".

But she did not outrightly deny that they could get back together in the future.

Sarah still lives with Andrew in their sprawling Windsor estate despite announcing their separation in 1992 before their divorce in 1996.

After appearing together at daughter Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank there has been intense speculation of a reunion between the pair.

Fergie also spoke about being invited back to the royal fold for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

She was snubbed for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s nuptials but did attend Harry’s bash at Windsor Castle.

"I can’t thank them enough for doing that. I was nerve wracking," she said.

"It was quite extraordinary. It was the old Fergie back. I felt that support from the crowds which is very kind."

The Duchess of York, who is a patron of Street Child, was joined in the studio by the charity’s CEO Tom Dannatt.

They spoke about the ‘Count Me In’ campaign, which aims to provide more children with access to education and the resources they need to learn ensuring every child has the best chance of success.
