Piers Morgan got a telling off from an animal handler on today’s Good Morning Britain after chasing his colleagues with a tarantula.
The GMB presenter bravely picked up the creepy crawly during the I’m A Celebrity segment.
While Piers insisted he was "utterly fearless", co-host Susanna Reid stood up and backed away from the table.
Holding Mary, he said: "Wouldn’t bother me at all if I woke up with five of these. I’ve had worse."
With the tarantula on his hand, Piers then started chasing after his terrified colleagues.

Kate Garraway shouted "no, no, no" and jumped out of her seat, while Susanna ran round the other side of the desk.
"Come and meet Mary," shouted Piers as he turned his attention to weather reporter Laura Tobin, who was forced to run away as well.
Piers joked: "I think this is called harassment in the workplace."

He was closely followed round the studio by animal handler Trevor, who was worried about the safety of the tarantula.
Trevor put his hand out to get the tarantula back multiple times but couldn’t stop Piers.
Eventually Mary’s handler managed to get back hold of her, telling Piers: "Can I just take her. You don’t want her to fall off."
Kate added: "Exactly, don’t be cruel to the spider."

Piers accepted Dec Donnelly’s challenge to appear on I’m A Celebrity.
He said: "You give me £10million and I’ll fly in tomorrow and win it."
The presenter then put the tarantula on his shoulder and asked to get a picture with his "new girlfriend".

Good Morning Britain viewers took to Twitter after the hilarious yet controversial scenes.
A third said: "@piersmorgan running around the @GMB studio frightening everyone with that spider – with the spider’s owner chasing after him, was hilarious!!"
"If @piersmorgan thinks he is funny to chase someone holding a tarantula he isn’t – it is both cruel to person and animal," added another.
One viewer said: "@RichardAArnold I love you but I so can’t watch this morning whilst you have that creepy crawly nearby…. Oh that’s @piersmorgan. I meant the spider!"
