Original Post, 11/17/18, 1:15 p.m. EST: It’s regularly been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving house soon, especially since the announcement that Meghan Markle is expecting her first baby with Prince Harry.

It makes sense that Meghan and Harry would want to move to a bigger property ahead of the arrival of their first child, which is due in the Spring of 2019. At the moment, they live in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace. Their residence is a modest two-bedroom property, at which Prince Harry lived on his own before Meghan moved to England.

Originally, it was believed that Meghan and Harry would take up residence in the apartment next door to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s home. The neighboring 21-bedroom Apartment 1 in Kensington Palace is currently inhabited by Queen Elizabeth’s cousin, the Duke of Gloucester and his wife, Birgitte van Deurs. According to reports, the Gloucesters would apparently like to stay in the apartment.

With a a rumored adjoining door between the two apartments, the royal Fab Four would be closer than ever if Harry and Meghan moved in.
