Susanna Reid ripped up Piers Morgan’s script live on air as he moaned about not being given enough attention on International Men’s Day.
The long-suffering presenter, who regularly puts up with Piers’ rants about feminism and other subjects he knows little about, took him to task when he wouldn’t stop banging on about men’s rights.
Piers told the camera: "Happy International Men’s Day today, by the way. We do need a day. We are now the most downtrodden group of people in the world. Especially white middle-class men like me. We’re an endangered species like rhinos.
"On International Men’s Day, well done men. Stay strong under the onslaught. Don’t worry, it’s OK to be a man. It’s not illegal – yet. Eventually it will be illegal and women will get what they really want, which is no men at all and then they’ll be left with each other," he continued whining.
"And then they’ll all fall out and that’ll be it, the end of the planet. But hey, it’s a great thing isn’t it? The emasculation of men worldwide?

Susanna took hold of papers on Piers’ desk
She started tearing them up and throwing them at him
"This morning I’m disappointed, on International Men’s Day I thought I’d get a warm welcome," he said before introducing a clip of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, being greeted by women throwing petals at his feet on a red carpet.
As the camera panned back to the studio, Susanna seized a pile of papers on Piers desk and tore them up in front of him, while her co-host cackled.
"Is that what you what?" she yelled while throwing the pieces at his face. "On International Men’s Day?"

Susanna had no time for Piers’ nonsense
"I want a bit of fawning, yeah," he said.
Still ripping up the paper and throwing it over him, Susanna retorted: "Yeah? That make you feel better? I’ve boosted your fragile ego and your sense of endangerment?"
"It would be nice if women reverted back to liking men for a day, and actually respecting men for a day-" Piers said belligerently.
"We all like men, don’t you worry," quipped Susanna.

Susanna had the final word
Refusing to give her a chance to speak, Piers carried on: "-Not shrieking about ‘toxic masculinity’ and ‘radical feminism’. If you actually just said, ‘men, thank you. Thank you for being men’.
"For one damn day, stop squealing about how awful men are and just be nice to us," he added.
But Susanna had the last word and put him firmly in his place, saying: "Or, for one damn day, stop squealing about how endangered you are and how one day it’ll be illegal to be a man. It’s a nonsense."
