The Royal Variety Performance is back for 2018 and ready to serve up its usual recipe of comedy, music and dance. This year we have an array of stars from BGT winner The Lost Voice Guy to Take That and George Ezra, among others.
Royals including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could attend again and rumours are circulating that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may make their debut as a couple.
The event raises money for the Royal Variety Charity which supports entertainers.

When is it on TV?
The show will take place on Monday 19 November 2018 but won’t be on TV until December. It will air on ITV but no official date has been confirmed yet.

Who is presenting?
Comedian Greg Davies will be presenting the show this year, Davies is best known for playing Mr Gilbert in The Inbetweeners.

Speaking about his role, Davies said: “I am delighted to host the Royal Variety.”
“It is a role that I am wildly unsuited to and I will no doubt offend a great many people, but my Mum has a voracious appetite for meeting members of the Royal family and this seems a reasonable price to pay for the gift of life,” he added.
Where is it held?
The Royal Variety Show will be held at none other than London’s Palladium Theatre for the 42nd time.

Is Meghan Markle attending?
The Royal family usually attend the event staged in aid of the Royal Variety Charity. The Queen has attended the show 39 times, but hasn’t for six years, the last time being in 2012. Since then, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been the guests of honour.

Meghan Markle could be about to make her debut tonight as the Duke and Duchess celebrate their six month wedding anniversary since tying the knot May.
The Royal Variety Performance will air on ITV in December 2018.
