I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launched in a blaze of glory last night, with 11.9million viewers tuning in live to watch Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly make their co-presenting debut in the jungle.
And with the first ten celebrities getting pitched against each other for a chance of a full meal and comfortable bed, everyone showed their competitive streaks early on.
But eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed one advantage shared by the yellow team, led by Rita Simons and James McVey, in that their group had pre-existing friendships.

Fans of the show watched as Inbetweeners star Emily Atack launched herself off a plane and parachuted down to the beach to meet them – and immediately ran into the arms of Fleur East and Rita.
As it turns out, the three women are already good friends – which may well help when it comes to tonight’s Bushtucker Trial, which will be done by Emily herself.
Her mum, the actress Kate Robbins, admitted on today’s Lorraine show that Emily will have help in the jungle.
"She [Emily] knows Rita and Fleur," Kate revealed to Lorraine Kelly.

Three members of team yellow are already close friends from before the show
"They kind of know each other, they’ve met each other at events and stuff."
While it’s good for the team – currently camping out at the basic Snake Rock – to forge close connections, their secret alliance may well push other campmates away.
The Chase’s Anne Hegerty was the first star to break down and sob about jungle life, having opened up about her struggle with autism earlier in the show.
"When you’ve grown up always knowing that there’s something that seemed to be different about you from most people and not being able to understand until my mid-40s that what we were talking about here was autism, I’ve had to learn an awful let about myself and what I can and can’t do and what I can or can’t cope with," she told the camera.

"At the moment I’m quietly panicked."
Anne was immediately comforted by Emily, who reassured her that everyone was feeling low.
"I’m really close to saying I can’t do this," Anne sobbed.
Emily explained: "Anne got a bit upset so we gave her a cuddle. It’s overwhelming. I think she was just expressing how we were all feeling, we just didn’t want to admit it."

X Factor singer Fleur East added: "I feel like we all have to be there for her and the minute that we all rallied around her, she just felt so much better."
Brave Anne rallied, and reflecting in the Bush Telegraph, said: "I like them. They’re my team."
Emily mum’s told Lorraine that her daughter is always looking out for others.
"I think Emily saw that Anne was in a bit of a state. I think Emily has got a kind heart," said Kate.
"Obviously, I’m going to say that, I’m her mum. She’ll make sure that people are OK."
