I’m A Celebrity 2018: How much do the stars get paid?

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has hit our screens with a new set of famous faces set to take on the Bushtucker Trials.

Ten celebrities are heading into the Australian jungle on Sunday, with late arrival Noel Edmonds set to be heading in at a later date.

The 69-year-old Deal or No Deal presenter is said to have won the title of the “highest paid” celebrity of the series after reportedly securing a £600,000 fee, reports the Express .

According to reports, ITV bosses “have really pushed the boat out this year in terms of signing and have spent more than ever before”.

“Harry and Noel are over £1 million between the two of them, and they’ve spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too.

“The bookers have been earning and spending their cash well this year,” the insider told The Sun.

Unlike other years, this series could see only 11 campmates in total, due to the cost of the current line-up.

It has been suggested, Noel will enter the jungle a few days after the launch, once all the celebrities have started to settle in a bid to shake things up.

The reason behind the Deal Or No Deal presenter choosing to sign up, is to publicly open up about his suicide attempt following his current court battle with a large banking company.

A friend explained: “He’s been to hell and back over the last few years. He came really close to the edge and wants to tell everyone on the biggest stage on TV just how much he’s been though,” The Sun reported.

Noel is set to join Coronation Street actress Sair Khan and Hollyoaks’ Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

Viewers will also see an appearance from actor and singer, John Barrowman and Emily Atack, who is best known for her role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in E4’s The Inbetweeners.

Representing the X Factor, runner-up Fleur East has swapped the stage for the jungle.
