1. Shame

People who know me personally will not be surprised by this choice. I love this movie. It is a masterpiece. I hate the word “masterpiece”, but I find no other way to describe it. It has become controversial for showing Fassbender’s penis, but I see a penis everyday. I don’t know what everyone is fussing about.

Moreover, the real star is director Steve Mcqueen. The man makes movies like Cormac McCarthy writes novels: With utter disregard for the conventions an audience expects.

Side note: I don’t know why this movie isn’t being released On Demand. It has so much buzz around it, but can only be seen in a few cities (I live in NYC). A way to distribute a movie like this has to be found.
